Soufriere is the third town of St. Lucia. It is a two-hour drive from Castries and an hours drive from Hewanorra Airport. The drive-in volcano, the health-giving mineral baths, and the scenic Pitons are all situated in the Soufriere area. Anse Chastanet, a nearby beach, is renowned for its excellent snorkelling.

St. Remy is a restored estate house which is about 150 years old. The house is situated high in the hills in a small estate. The gardens surrounding the house are fully landscaped and are an excellent example of a truly lush and colorful Caribbean garden and tended with care by the resident gardener/watchman, George.

The house is a good example of Caribbean architecture from the past centuries and has the typical scrubbed wooden floors and a verandah, which encircles the house on three sides. There are 2 double bedrooms with a queen size bed in each bedroom, one bathroom and one shower room. A sitting/dining room, furnished in the old fashioned style proper to the house.

The sitting room has a music center and a TV with a video and a video library - there is no TV reception in that area.

There is a small guest cottage with two single beds, which on application may be available for rental.

The pool is spectacularly situated on the hillside in its own sun deck.

This is a unique property situated in the countryside near to Soufriere and the owner has employed an experienced taxi driver/guide to meet you at the airport and transfer you to the villa to start you off on a wonderful holiday at St. Remy.
