This beautiful three bedroom, three bath home overlooks the bay, lagoon and mountains of St. Martin. Located in the Lowlands area, an exclusive residential area of St. Martin, Steel Magnolias is the former home of Oscar winning actress Olympia Dukakis. This private and spacious villa provides wonderful views of the island and the sea.

A staircase leads to the covered gallery and main entry of the villa that is tiled in stone which continues to the pool deck. The main living area of the villa is furnished with leather couches and big screen satellite television. A large dining table for six is also part of the main living space. The colorfully painted kitchen adjacent to the living area has everything for those whole love to cook.

The three bedrooms are just down a hallway off of the main living area. Each bedroom offers a king size bed, private bath and air-conditioning. All three bedrooms are colorfully painted and furnished in hardwoods. Each bedroom also opens out to the pool deck through French doors.

A large rectangular pool with built in seating is the focus of the spacious outdoor area. Wonderful views over the lagoon and the island provide a perfect place to relax and take in the sun. There are two outdoor dining areas under cover for those who prefer to enjoy meals with the cool tradewinds on the deck.

The villa is located just a few minutes walk from Baie Rouge, one of St. Martin's best white sand beaches.

Steel Magnolias also has a newly refurbished cottage adjacent to the main house that can be rented as a fourth bedroom for larger groups. The cottage is completely self contained with kitchenette, bathroom and queen size bed and is just a few steps from the pool deck of the main villa.
