Spyglass Hill is a former plantation house with attractive accommodations for large or small groups. Its 9 acres are composed of beautiful expanses of lawn and amazing tropical gardens. But most spectacular is its unparalleled panorama of Caribbean Sea, coconut plantation, river ravine and Montego Bay with breathtaking views day and night.

The original plantation house has four air-conditioned bedrooms; a spacious living room with entertainment center (50" television, VCR and DVD, sound system); fanciful hand-painted dining room; large state-of-the-art kitchen; several verandahs, porches and terraces; a 20' x 40' private pool and additional children's pool just two feet deep.

A vacation at Spyglass Hill is full of visual treats ~ from breakfast on the lawn as light changes from early white to gold and the sea to deep blue and turquoise ~ to twilight when the lights turn on in the town of Montego Bay nine miles across the water and the stars begin to appear, reflecting like diamonds on the sea below. The hours in between can be spent swimming, sunning, reading, napping, sharing friendships and eating fabulous meals prepared by the superb Spyglass Hill cook.

At night, the property is blessed by refreshing tradewinds and temperate night air ~ cooled by airflow coming down the Great River canyon from a 3,000-foot mountain range. Nighttime temperatures are typically in the mid-60's.

The grounds, gazebo and amazing view make Spyglass Hill an exquisite wedding site. Brides Magazine has done several photo shoots here, and many brides and grooms have wonderful memories of their own sunset ceremonies. The CD player and speakers can be placed outside to provide wedding music.
