A $2,000 site fee applies to wedding stays of less than four nights in Low Season and less than seven nights in High Season. For stays of four nights or more in Low Season and for stays of seven nights in High Season, this fee is waived.

Owners Villa:

*Owner’s Villa is available for an additional $8100 per week after minimum rental rate for other Villas has been met. High Season minimum rental rate is $17,500; Low Season minimum rental is $12,500.

Food and Beverages (Prepayment Required):

Gourmet meals are served which includes breakfast, lunch,
pre-dinner hors d'oeuvres and dinner and are prepared exclusively for Silent Waters guests.

Children 2 to12 $227.50 per week
Children younger than 2 Complimentary
In lieu of lunch at the villa, boxed lunches can be provided for day trips.
Wine, liquor, soft drinks and bottled water are additional and are billed locally.
Additional charges apply for cocktail parties and other guest-hosted events.

TAX
Please add a GCT (Jamaican Government Consumption Tax) of 6.25% on all rental costs, meal plan, beverages and special event costs, and GCT of 15% on car and driver rates.

RESERVATION POLICY
Published rates are for 7 nights. A reservation deposit of 25% of the rental rate is required within 3 business days upon confirmation of a booking, with the balance due 60 days prior to arrival date. If arrival date is less than 60 days from initial booking date, payment in full is required at time of booking confirmation. Bookings during the Christmas / New Year Holiday Season (12/20/03 through 1/3/04) require a reservation deposit of 50% of the rental rate within 3 business days upon confirmation of a booking, with the balance due 90 days prior to arrival date. A damage deposit of USD 2,000.00 is required for all bookings payable at time of final rental deposit.

The damage deposit will be refunded promptly after departure assuming that no damage is sustained during the guest's stay. All payments must be made by wire transfer, Visa or MasterCard. Silent Waters Villa reserves the right to cancel any reservation if final payment is not received by the due date, unless alternate arrangements have been made in advance. Check-in time is 2:00 PM and checkout time is 11:00 AM. If the property is not reserved by other guests on the arrival date and / or departure date, an earlier check-in and / or later check-out time on the same date can be arranged without additional charge to the guest.

VISA / MASTERCARD POLICY
Owner's accept both Visa and MasterCard in lieu of wire transfer for the initial deposit up to a maximum of $5,000 without a surcharge. For any charges above the $5,000 for the initial deposit and final deposit payments in total, the Owner's will accept Visa or MasterCard with an additional 3% bank-processing fee.

TRANSPORTATION
Montego Bay airport round trip transfers are complimentary. A driver and 8-passenger air-conditioned Mitsubishi van are available on a weekly basis for $775 per week. First tank of petrol is complimentary, and thereafter the guest pays for petrol used at market cost.
A second vehicle, an 7-passenger air-conditioned Toyota Kijang station wagon (similar to a Toyota Land Cruiser) with driver is also available on a weekly basis for $775 per week. This 2nd vehicle and driver can be contracted for a minimum of 3 consecutive days with at least 2 days advance notice. A driver's day is considered to be 12 hours maximum unless alternate arrangements are made, such as a shorter day prior to or after a day longer than 12 hours. For excursions a 27-passenger mini-bus is available for $275 per day.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation more than 60 days prior to scheduled arrival bears a 20% cancellation fee. In Low Season (Apr 16 to Dec 14),
cancellation less than 60 days prior to scheduled arrival will result in forfeiture of all funds paid.
In High Season (Dec 15 to Apr 15), if cancellation occurs less than 90 days prior to scheduled arrival, all deposits will be forfeited subject to note 2 below. Only under the following circumstances will a refund be made less than 60 days prior to stay or during
High Season:

1) Villa becomes unfit for habitation due to natural calamity.
2) The villa is rebooked by another party for the canceled dates. If only a portion of the canceled dates is rebooked,
a pro-rata refund will be made. Any rental payments that qualify for a refund, whether in whole or pro-rata,
will be subject to deduction of a 20% administrative fee.

GENERAL INFORMATION

HELIPORT
Capable of accepting 8-seat Jet Ranger, located at the highest point overlooking the property for those wishing
to arrive/depart via helicopter, or to be picked up for breathtaking air tours of Jamaica. Multi-directional takeoff
and landing is available. The heliport is equipped with lighted windsock and lights for night landings.

ELECTRICITY
110 volt, 50 cycles (converters not needed for US-made appliances)

WATER AND SANITATION
All drinking and bathing water is treated with an activated carbon filtration system: 25-micron filter,
then 5-micron filter, finally an ultraviolet treatment to ensure the highest level of purity and sanitation.

LAUNDRY FACILITIES
A commercial laundry capable of handling most laundry tasks is on site. No dry cleaning facilities are on the property, nor are adequate dry-cleaning facilities in Montego Bay.

SPECIAL EVENTS
One-day special events, such as weddings, with no villa rental are welcomed at Silent Waters Villa when dates are available, but are limited to Saturday or Sunday. All special events held at Silent Waters Villa are subject to a $2,000 location fee. This fee will be waived for guests satisfying a minimum USD 10,000 low season / USD 14,000 high season rental.
A set-up of $10 per person ($400 minimum) for the use of linens, tables, chairs and serving stations will apply.
