• Designed as the owners' private quarters, this is an exquisite 2-story cottage right next to the sea. Downstairs
  are the living room, VCR and television with dedicated satellite dish not shared with main house, full kitchen with microwave, sound system, powder room and extra bedroom with queensize bed perfect for children. The lower level opens to a private terrace on the edge of the beach where meals are served if only the Beach Cottage is occupied. (If more than two guests are in residence, all meals are served on the main house verandah, although eye-opener coffee and fruit may be served at the Beach Cottage.) Upstairs are the kingsize bedroom, over-the-beach balcony with lounges for sunning or star-gazing and large en-suite marble bath with oversize walk-in shower.

True to its name, Tranquillity is a place for relaxing into the calm ambiance of an exquisite home on a beautiful beachfront site ~ while being gently pampered by a competent staff.
The well-appointed rooms of Tranquillity stretch over 4,800 square feet of rich marble floors. Artful landscaping ensures year-round flowers in bloom. The grounds resemble a private park. The entranceway draws you past an indoor waterfall garden as you approach the spacious Great Room which opens to an 86' furnished verandah. Meals are served by the butler on the verandah overlooking two acres of landscaped grounds and the sea ~ or in the inside formal dining room ~ or, as a special treat, in the romantic seaside gazebo by candlelight. On calm nights, two or three local fishermen may ease through the water beyond the gazebo carrying torches and laying bait nets for the fresh catch they will deliver to the cook the next morning. The overall ambiance is quite beautiful.

The large master suite is privately located in a wing on the east end of the villa. Two smaller bedrooms are beyond the living room on the west end of the villa. The fourth bedroom and a smaller fifth bedroom most suitable for children are in the Beach Cottage across the lawn on the water's edge. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have French doors to the wonderful tropical view.
The state-of-the-art kitchen includes a 6-burner Vulcan gas stove, microwave and double fridge with icemaker.

If you've left your pets behind, be advised that Tranquillity is home to three friendly dogs. If you wish, they can be kept in their large kennel behind the house and allowed to run only at night so they don't disturb you. If you enjoy them, they'll run with you on the beach and romp with you in the sea. They are gentle, well-behaved and love guests!
