The Caribbean's most exciting fantasy villa is designed in Moorish style, and sits right on its own private shore with commanding ocean views. From the moment you drive through massive gates into Azzurra Castle's entry courtyard, you'll be enchanted with the exotic storybook aura of this impressive and colorful estate, and warmly welcomed by its friendly and attentive staff.

A keyhole gate ushers you into the main courtyard's three charming living areas spread with plush, oversized cushions and accented with antiques, marble, wrought iron pieces, colorful mosaic tiling, ottomans, a bar, and kitchen, dining area, and smoking room beyond. Thick archways, columns, crennelated walls and turrets and Moroccan accessories add to The Castle's centuries-old look; this perfect setting for a tale of Aladdin is softened by gentle curves, clever private nooks, beautiful night-lighting and tasteful stone washed in earthy hues. But its lively palette of colors and perfect site, constantly drawing in cool breezes, is very Caribbean.

A large archway opens to a complex and ornamental stairway system which takes you down to the lower level and to the pool and sun deck flanked by two bedroom/bath suites on each side. Three air-conditioned queen bedroom/bath garden suites and a palatial air-conditioned master suite all face the pool area and are beautifully and whimsically decorated; the huge bi-level master suite boasts a king bed, a bath with custom features and its own spacious sitting room and private patio deck.

Another walkway leads to the air-conditioned and well-equipped gym, and to the air-conditioned conference room - and beyond, down by the sea, is The Folly, a romantic three-story circular tower with its own courtyard by the sea. This private aerie offers a private bed/bath suite on its upper level with an oversized bed, a bar and its own kitchen, roof terrace, and BBQ area for entertaining. A spiral staircase leads down to the simple lower level where two small single beds can accommodate 2 additional guests (no bath). Another stairway leads down to a small deck at water's edge with a jacuzzi.

Azzurra Castle's staff provides charming and attentive service included in the rental rate (cook, housekeepers, and gardener); you only pay the cost of the food and drink you order. • Please note: The villa's computer does have internet access; the cost is approximately $1.15 U.S. per hour for its use.
• A 7-night minimum stay is required all year. 14-nights at Christmas and New Years
• The Castle's staff - the cheerful cook and two smiling housekeepers, who stay on the property in separate staff quarters, and the gardener - will take wonderful care of you from 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. (or later, if prearranged).
• The villa's wet bar and a refrigerator will be available to guests 24 hours a day; the kitchen is generally off limits to guests.
• A morning grocery-shopping service is also available to guests for $25 U.S. per day, if you do not wish to go grocery shopping with Azzura Castle's cook. The cook has sample menus and a suggested grocery list available to you upon request.
• Alex, the castle's friendly, low-key and very polite dog, comes and goes as he pleases.
