Bathrooms: 1.5

| Location: |
In a secluded and tranquil location,
overlooking the Firth of Lorne and the neighboring islands, this
spacious, well maintained house stands in its own mature gardens
on the edge of Oban, just 5minutes' walk from Ganavan's sandy
beach.
It boasts two living rooms, an indoor gym and a sauna, and provides
an ideal base from which to explore the Western Isles. Known as
the `Gateway to the Isles', Oban is a bustling town overlooked
by McCaigs Tower from which there are breathtaking views. Nestling
round a busy fishing and boating harbor Oban has a good selection
of shops, cafes and excellent seafood restaurants. Don't miss
a visit to the fine whisky distillery, the War and Peace Museum
and Oban Chocolate Company. Lively Oban has a variety of events
throughout the year culminating in the Argyllshire Highland Gathering
(August) with its bag-pipers, Highland dancing and Highland Games.
An ideal base for exploring the regions historic attractions,
it is just a short drive to the ruined castles of Dunollie and
Dunstaffnage whilst regular boat trips leave the harbor bound
for Duart and Torosay Castle on the Isle of Mull. On Mull visit
historic Iona and colorful Tobermory and the Treshnish Isles with
their comical puffins. Enjoy the underwater splendor of the Sea
Life Center just north of Oban as well as a trip to the Rare Breeds
Park. For the active, Oban's Atlantis leisure Center is not to
be missed. Easily reached by boat are the Isles of Lismore and
Kerrera with an abundance of wild flowers, bird and wild life
including buzzards, heron and otters. Argyll is also a garden
lover's paradise, and there is a huge selection of superb forest
walking to be enjoyed. Cliff top walks, boat launching and diving
facilities in the immediate area. Pubs, restaurants and evening
entertainment in Oban.
