Turtle
Cove sits on a high coral cliff overlooking the sweeping arc of
Foul Bay Beach on the southeast coast of Barbados. From this unique
vantage, you can watch the sun rise out of the Atlantic and the
sea turtles feeding below. If what you are looking for is perfect
tranquiltity, privacy without isolation, security and serenity--but
with every contemporary convenience--you will find it at Turtle
Cove.
The house itself is an excellent example of island
vernacular architecture, a three bedroom, two bathroom bungalow
with shuttered windows on four sides and a wide verandah along
the east and south side of the house, which face the beach and
ocean. The house has its own pool, set on the coral cliff with
a spectacular view of the beach and bay below. One fifth of the
pool is wading depth; the remainder is ten feet deep.
Perfect for families of up to six, or two or three
couples vacationing together, Turtle Cove offers casual comfort,
seclusion, and easy access to one of the least-crowded beaches
on the island of Barbados, all within 10 minutes of the airport
and 30 minutes of Bridgetown.
The weekly rate includes daily maid service. Upon
request, the services of an experienced cook, who can prepare
the local seafood and island specialties, is also available for
an additional charge. |
