Villa originally built in 1950s for US Ambassador Scotten and constructed entirely of coral stone in the grand Palladian manner (14ft ceilings in the living room). Nelson Gay retains the charm of a bygone era with many original features including the floors, designed by Oliver Messel. Accommodation consists of 5 bedrooms in main house and sixth bedroom in cottage on grounds.
